What you get

Expert accounting and tax support for your firm

We support American CPA firms with bookkeeping, tax preparation, audit support, payroll, cross-border compliance and internal audit. The consultation is where we work out which of those you actually need.

  • A partner takes the call, not a sales team
  • We will tell you if we are not the right fit
  • No commitment and no follow-up pressure

For new clients

Exclusive benefits for new clients

Three things we offer on a first engagement that we do not charge for.

A free review of the books

Send us one client file. We will review it and tell you what we would change, at no cost and with no obligation.

The right software fit

If a client is on the wrong platform we will say so, and tell you what moving would actually involve.

Busy season planning

Bring your return volumes and filing calendar. We will tell you what we can absorb and what we cannot.

Why firms call us

What a first conversation usually covers

Most firms come to us at one of four moments. The call is quickest when you recognise one of them.

Busy season is already committed

Return volume for January to April exceeds what your in-house preparers can clear, and hiring for a three-month problem does not make sense.

A senior has left

You need continuity on a client book before the next cycle, without rushing a permanent hire you will regret.

Outsourcing did not work last time

Work came back needing a second look and cost more senior time than it saved. You want to know what would be different here.

A client book has outgrown the team

Your client accounting services practice is growing faster than you can staff it, and the monthly close keeps slipping.

How onboarding runs

From the call to your first delivered file

No long onboarding project. Four steps between the first conversation and work arriving on your desk.

1

The consultation

Thirty minutes with a partner covering volumes, software and where the pressure sits.

2

Written scope

Deliverables, turnaround times and fees, written against your workflow rather than a template.

3

Access and protocols

Engagement letter signed, logins issued by your firm, and your review checklist adopted as ours.

4

First file delivered

Your accountant starts, with CPA manager review and partner approval from the first file onward.

Questions

Common questions about the consultation

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. Thirty minutes with a partner, no cost and no obligation. We do not ask for card details and there is no follow-up pressure if it is not a fit.

Your return volumes or transaction counts, the software your clients run on, and the point in the year where the pressure actually hits. That is enough for us to tell you what we can absorb.

One of the partners. First calls are not handled by a sales team, because the person who scopes the work should be the person who will be responsible for it.

If it looks like a fit we send a written scope with deliverables, turnaround times and fees. If it does not, we will say so on the call and suggest what would work better.

Our practice is built for American CPA and tax firms. We support cross-border reporting where a US firm’s client has entities abroad, but the engaging firm is US-based.

Once scope and the engagement letter are agreed, access and protocols are set up and your accountant begins. Partner review applies from the first file, not the tenth.
